daily(ish) photos of the princess pug

When vixens the world over want to tug at your heartstrings, they affect a droopy-eyed pout guaranteed to melt. Here, my little vixen’s variation. In case you can’t read pug, this look reads “you have not PLAYED with me enough lately!”. Poor pug.

It is a blessing to be able to laugh every single day. And with a grin like that staring at me every day, daily laughter is a sure thing in my life. Thank you, princess.

Oh, yes, folks, back fun continues over at our house. The good news is that I am getting stronger and seemingly finally on a program that will lead to long-term back health. The princess has been incredibly patient with her mommy, and so have all of you; I thank you.

I don’t know that I ever realized (before I got Merry) how many different expressions dogs convey with their ears. Curiousity, fear, excitement, happiness, sleepiness, they all seem to come through the ears. Here, the princess is distracted from our shoot by a dog walking by.

The princess looking cool and so cute in her hot pink polo shirt and Playboy collar and lead.

One of my favorite things about tiny miss Meredith: her cute little smooshy face. I can’t help myself; I end up grabbing it between my two hands and pulling it towards me and kissing it with big noisy kisses.

This month, the princess and I reviewed a cool new treat that lets you put your pet’s photo right on an edible bone (the photo itself is “printed” on tapioca-based material with food dyes). We thought this was the coolest thing ever! The photos you see memorialized here are (clockwise starting from the bottom left): smiley, whatcha want mom?, what a mug, on the chinese bed. Also visible in this photo is the real paws of the princess. :)

Another shot from Merry’s play date last weekend. She had a great deal of fun, and helped to encourage her pug buddies to play more fetch, in some cases (as with little Mack here) more successfully than they’d ever done before. I love it when the princess shares her talents with others! :)
