After a very happy birthday feast, we played a great deal of fetch, and the princess, as you can see was very happy about that. (note the cute Birthday Girl t-shirt and the lovely purple collar and leash).

Merry turned a precious 5 years old yesterday. She had a lovely birthday party with kids running around, good homemade roast beef for dinner, and a carrot muffin with cream cheese frosting for her “birthday cake”. She ran and played and had a great deal of fun, and managed to sneak a lot of carrots and pieces of cauliflower from the adults at the table. Merry had her friends Abby, Charlie & Mac over this weekend for a little pre-birthday celebration and all-around playfest. Much fun, a great deal of running, and a fair amount of fresh fruit and veggie consumption made the day a blast. There is nothing better in this world than being surrounded by a gaggle of pugs. Many thanks to the threesome’s mom and dad for bringing them over to play!
