The princess sleeping on her little pink satin blanket, cuddling with her nighttime toy (a present from her Grandma). Since pugs can’t name their stuffed animals (being not able to speak, and all) I’ve decided the bear’s name is Bob.

Because I just cannot resist zooming in on this deeply cute puggie face.

The princess gives a sway of the hips and some raw puggie ‘tude in her hot little Diva tee (read the review) ‘, ‘n’);?> and smokin’ red leather dog collar (read the review) ‘, ‘n’);?>.

Pug howls are, hands down, the funniest sounds on the planet. I caught her mid-howl again yesterday afternoon in the backyard (thanks again to Grandpa, a-hem, for teaching her this little trick of howling when you’re not throwing the ball fast enough to suit little miss Merry).

The princess was very glad to be able to get into a regular routine again with our play; we try to get out once a day to toss a ball around and generally blow off some steam. Girl’s gotta keep her figure, after all. :)

Pugs, for me, are just the most lovable breed on the planet. I can’t enough of these little guys, and when I have the money, space and time (and patience for housebreaking) I’d love a houseful. Their sweet little faces are like nothing else on earth.

After all that activity, it was little wonder that we caught her taking a pugnap on the last day at the cottage. We laughed at the butt up in the air – how can this be comfortable? :) Back to normal “urban-girl” posts as of tomorrow, folks! Thanks for putting up with our “vacation slides”.

I just had to share this photo of the princess from the agility area as well – the manic look in her eyes as she leaps towards the treat is just priceless. As is the bum so high in the air. :)

The princess had never even seen agility equipment before, but one of the fun dog-friendly things our cottage provided was a dog agility area. The princess took a few minutes to figure out how this big ramp worked, but once we tempted her with a treat, she figured it out lickety split! Such a clever girl.

One of the things that Merry liked the best about being at the cottage was being off-leash with all the room in the world to roam around. She loved our walks through the woods. :)
