The princess and I want to wish all of you a safe, happy and full-of-doggy-lovin’ 2007!

There is nothing more hilarious than a teeny pug howling her little lungs out for the ball. Cracks me up every time I hear it.

Merry and I headed into the backyard this morning for some more black & white action shots. I don’t know why I love these “Chaaarge!”-type photos, but I really do; perhaps it’s because she’s so darned CUTE most of the time that it’s amusing as all heck to see her look like Attila the Attack Pug. :)

I already have all the presents I could possibly want – including the princess under the tree. Merry and I (and our extended family) wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas. (The princess also sends puggy licks your way.)

The princess in one of my favorite Santa outfits, picked up last year at a local retailer (sadly, I never could find these anywhere else). She looked so cute while we shot this that I promptly had to snuggle her after we got the shot. Hope everyone’s enjoying the run up to the holidays! Just remember: if you have to head out shopping tomorrow, put a santa hat on, sing a Christmas tune, and generally try to remember that it’s not about he who gets around fastest, it’s about he who has the most fun while he’s doing it. :)

I love this little pink santa-like coat; it’s perfect for that just above zero weather and teams up to make an awesome outfit with a hot pink rhinestone collar. C’mon, that pompom just screams adorable, you know it. Who says Santa can’t play, can’t have bling?

Another from our photo shoot testing out the new lighting/backdrops/methods etc. I need to practice more, but I’m pretty happy with the first try’s results. Plus, totally cute baby girl!

The princess all bedecked in her Christmas festive collar. I’m also trying some new lighting and setups, inspired by this Flickr feed. I’m not there yet, but I hope to work on this in the coming year. I love my shots of Merry but I know they could be better, and that’s what I need to work on. ;)

One of the millions of Santa hats I have for the pug. I just love the droopiness, and the colors – burgundy and that green look amazing together. Have a super weekend, all! More Christmas photos of the pug next week…

Somehow it’s even cuter when she just starts to open her eyes, isn’t it? I have a big blown up version of this photo as my holiday wallpaper today.
