I think the glee is pretty obvious, from the little curled tongue, the great big grin, and the butt way up in the air, folks. I love playing fetch with her, she takes such delight in it…

Oh, the princess has been a happy tot the last two days, being able to run around outside in the sunshine (more or less) playing ball. I wish we got more direct sunlight in our backyard in the winter, but we may go to the park down the road this weekend to get her more direct sunlight – that is, if it doesn’t rain all weekend (like they’re predicting). Holy heck, is this a crazy winter or what?

The last two days have finally had a bit more sun, and the princess seems to finally be waking up a bit. :)

There has been very, very little sunlight here in Toronto since the new year, and it’s starting to really take its toll on the princess and I. Me, with a bit of grouchiness (who me?) and her, with a desire to do not much other than sleep. Luckily she has these adorable Puppy Hugger dog beds which she sleeps in almost constantly since we got them.

Experimenting with some more advanced (for me) photographic stuff the last week or so, and I was finally able to catch a photo I liked, well lit enough to see, of the pug sleeping in my bed! Now, everyone all together: awwwww.

Global warming? Pshaw! It’s not like we live in Canada and haven’t yet had snow that stayed for more than a few hours… oh wait. :) The poor pug has all these stylish winter coats and it hasn’t been cool enough to even wear them – it’s been above freezing every day for weeks, only dipping slightly below most nights. Depressing. The princess can’t wait to play in the snow!

Merry and I went to visit our friends Megan (the lovely lady in the photo), Chris & their three pugs just before the new year. As you can see, all furkids had a great time begging cheese from us while we snacked. That’s the princess hanging out behind Megan, and the cuties in front are Charlie and Mack (on her lap) and Abby (on the arm of the couch). Note, too, the panoply of stuffed pugs on the cupboard in the background. ;)
