Nothing better in the world than a happy pug running full tilt, ball in her mouth and joy in her eyes.

Most days Merry has a look on her face that makes you think butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth. Some days, though, I manage to catch the little devil inside. ;)

As a side note, look at that grey in her chin. I haven’t touched it up in the photo, but it breaks my heart to look at it. Not that it’s unattractive – it just reminds me that she’s getting older (6 years old next month!) and that my time with her is not permanent.

I am so not ready to let go of this pooch.
