daily(ish) photos of the princess pug
Baby girl, your eyes are just so sweet. I do miss the days when she could look at me directly, though, instead of just “in my direction”. Her eyesight will never be what it was – though I’m grateful she has some nearsighted vision in her operated eye. We will be deciding in the new year whether to operate on the other eye. I’m frankly not sure what to do – which is why, since we can’t decide now anyway, I’m trying not to think about it, and just enjoy the holidays with the wee baby princess. :)
The princess loves nothing better first thing in the morning than spreading out on her back and getting a good tummy rubbing. She’s just so cute, I can’t resist.

While our friends to the South are celebrating their Thanksgiving today, we got hit with our first snow of the year (a good two months earlier than last year!). Merry wasn’t very happy about it – nor was she very thrilled when she realized she’d be missing out on a chance to sneak turkey from her online friends. :)

Saw this one, cute little pug eye peeking out at me this morning. I love her first thing in the morning when she’s all sleepy and cuddly and sweet. I just want to snuggle her all up and go back to bed.:) Sadly, work calls! Luckily, the weekend has arrived – have a super weekend, all of you!
I was setting up for a fashion shoot the other day and the princess felt that perhaps something exciting was going on that she was not, but should be, privy to. She leaped up on my leg (I know you’re supposed to discourage this behavior in dogs, but she’s just so darned CUTE when she does it) and demanded to know what was going on. So I took her picture. Darned pushy pug. ;)

You know, the princess has gone through so many changes, both physical and behavioral, in the past year – sometimes it seems like I have an entirely different dog around the house. But there are moments when I see her as she’s always been – a goofy, adorable, playful, loving, devoted little furball – and I fall in love with her all over again.
