And if you think that face is funny, I wish you could have heard the closed-mouth howl/growl that came out of her while we did this… kind of a “grrrrminewoooooohooohooo” but behind closed lips. Funniest. Thing. Ever. :)

No special Photoshop trickery, either – in fact, other than boosting the color and saturation, I did nothing to the image at all; that’s straight out of camera. I didn’t like the photo at first – it was a botched focus job – but it’s growing on me, because it looks so much like a Merry(tm) painting. Of which there are more than a dozen at this point! *laughs*

No, she’s not really looking for a worm… she’s waiting for the ever-present ball. But the shot looked so much like a baby bird waiting for a worm, I couldn’t resist the title. :)

Yes, pumpkin – in fact, you’re maybe cuter. :) Folks, I hope each of you has a fabulous weekend – it’s gonna be a scorcher here in Toronto (well, for the time of year – 84F with the humidex) but we plan to get outside at least some of the time!

I have a collection of dog feet: four, to be exact. They are attached to the cutest pug on the planet and when she sleeps, she will often push them all together into a little dog foot bouquet for me, like this. Which forces me to sniff the bouqet and swoon from the Frito smell. Sooooo cute. :)

Ha! I totally love the howl (well, except when she’s howling and I’m in those last few crazy minutes before serving dinner – you know, when everything is done at the same time and you don’t want anything to burn). I also love being able to catch it on camera, since it’s a hard thing to do. :)

Oh, the princess had a sweet sweet time chasing around a ball during our latest park visit. She’s just so cute, and so manic, about fetch that it’s adorable to watch.

Are you tired, yet, of seeing how adorable the pug is first thing in the morning? She’s just such a sleepy girl now in the mornings (is it weird that part of me misses her being all excited and raring-to-go in the mornings?) that it’s too much temptation for me: I must run and get the camera.

Another early evening play session in lovely sunlight. Thank goodness for spring. Anybody else miss spring? Ever since I a) became a photographer and b) started growing vegetables and herbs, I find I can’t wait for the sun to start streaming into our house again.
