Merry Merry, how does this not hurt your face? (LOL.) Good thing pugs have such flat and smooshy faces to begin with!

I loved how this location looked at this hour, with the light filtering in and the fairytale sparkle. All she needs is a wand made of fairy dust, yes?

I was processing chihuahua wedding photos all day yesterday, looked up, realized it was 7pm and I hadn’t done a Merrylog yet. Apologies for being so sporadic this week, folks. I will be better next week! Have a super weekend.

When flat-faced pooches play with toys, it’s always hard to tell from a photo if they’re playing or falling over on their face. Poor baby girl! *laughs*

An assistant! Yes, folks, that is precisely what I need. I love you. If only I could convince some crazy person to follow me around for the sheer joy of doing so and the value of being able to pick my brain at close range daily, I’d have an assistant in a heartbeat. Sadly, I hear these days assistants need food and that means money and alas, there is no extra money in the budget these days! :)

Merry, I guess that means you’re going to need to pull a little more of your own weight around here! What do you think about data entry, furball? Any good at responding to the millions of business emails I get daily? Hm? No?

Thanks to everyone who commented about the wedding dress yesterday; I picked it up this morning and if I hadn’t been trying all day to squeeze 12 hours’ worth of work into 9, I’d be much more excited about it. :) Mostly I’m looking forward to buying the shoes and the earrings and you know, all the fun stuff that fits you no matter what!

I love it when she gets all impatient with the camera and just wants to get moooooving. Poor baby, she didn’t get much time walking with me this weekend as I spent most of it running around the city trying to find a wedding dress. Luckily, I think I’ve found it – I’m going to try it on again tomorrow morning to be sure. Wish me luck!

You know I said I’d never marry a man who wears socks and shorts. :) Well, there were extenuating circumstances. He’s mucked up his foot and needs to wear lace up shoes right now. But still. Socks and shorts. Snicker.

On the plus side, isn’t Merry the cleverest pug ever for hiding in the shade? :)

Yesterday was Canada Day (the CDN equivalent of the 4th of July in the US) and after working my wee fingers to the bone for weeks on end, I took an entire day off and did – well, only a little tiny bit of work in the morning and then blissfully ignored that I own two companies for an entire day. Aaaaah.

Our wee family (Merry, her “Daddy” and I) went for a well deserved nice long walk yesterday through our ‘hood – about 2 hours – and took many photographs and laughed and talked and reconnected. Merry met many new k9 friends and was pleasantly exhausted by the time we got home. ;)
