This is my first year growing tomatoes, and I planted seeds from a kit a girlfriend had given me for cherry tomatoes. There are three or four different types in the kit and I have no idea which is which (long story, yes, I did originally label them) but one kind – the most productive – grows these teeny tiny tomatoes. I have NO idea if that’s on purpose or if they’re just ripening early before reaching full size, but it’s actually good since we have an entire jungle of them in the back yard and I’m pulling 2-3 pints a week out of it. :) If they were bigger we’d never keep up eating them!

The princess, as you can imagine, believes I am growing these pug-sized tomatoes just for her. I only give her one or two a day but she luuuuurves them. Snarf!

The princess and I visited some friends last evening, and of course I brought along the camera. Merry knew I had a lap full of carrot bits to give her: scammer, she was up on my knees and begging a good chunk of the evening. *laughs*

Not too often you see the princess pug from this angle: 90 degrees, showing off her cute little flat nose. But I couldn’t resist; how cute is she?

When we’re playing, I’m always trying to capture the pug doing something slightly differently than I’ve captured before – and I loved this action shot of her playing fetch on the beach, fur flying, tongue sticking out, sand kicked up all over the place!

The princess pug had a great deal of fun on vacation: beach, sun, sand, two teenagers to lick and lots of ball playing. Her mom needs a vacation to recuperate from her vacation, but isn’t that always the way? :)

I wish I could say I’d had time to shoot new photos of little miss furball, but this weekend was crazy, baby, crazy! It’s 45 days till wedded bliss and it’s been… hectic.

So… here’s another lovely shot from Friday’s photo session. I love how soft and pink it looks. I’m on vacay as of tomorrow AM so we’ll see you all next week – unless I weaken first with gorgeous pug vacation photos! :)
