The princess is really enjoying our new neighborhood park for fetch. Lots of room to roam! She also looks killer cute and is already the fashion maven of the ‘hood, natch.

The move is over, and the house is slowly but surely emptying of boxes. The princess pug has been a timid little thing of late, with a world constantly shifting around her, needing lots of reassurance and snuggles and playtime. But today we tried out the huge, well-blocked off (aka leashless-friendly) park across the street (!) to see how fetch would go, and not only did we play, but we met this lovely beast (I think his sitters said he was an Aussie something or other – from the dingo family?) and Merry actually played with him! Since losing her eyesight, she mostly stops dead and puts her ears back, scared, when other pups sniff around her. But today she crouched and then started frapping around just like when she was sighted! Oh, I was so excited… and thankfully had my camera handy.
