It is a relief to be able to give the pug some playtime outlets, though we still have to be very careful indeed. We have to sit with her while she plays to ensure she doesn’t hurt herself, and have to limit playtime to this one toy which is incredibly soft and won’t hurt her little eyeball. As you can see, Merry’s not particularly thrilled about it either. It holds her attention for a few minutes but then she’s rolling on her side looking for belly rubs.
Luckily, we’re only too happy to provide that.

Merry,
You are just too cute for words! Don’t worry little disgruntled pug, you’ll be back to chasing balls in no time!
Love,
Payton (and mom, Christy)
but belly rubs are the best!!! blessings to all………………..
Oh Miss Merry, what a sweet face you have! Hang in there, sweetheart; you’ll be feeling better soon!
I haven’t checked in on you in a while Merry so I’m sorry to hear you went through such a rough spot but I’m thrilled to know you’re on the mend and you’re doing so much better now. Such a sweet little girl. You can even make a cone look stylish.
asking for prayers for mabel this week. possibility of a mast cell tumor on her chest. mabel precious is a puppy mill dog that i took in for hospice 11 years ago. well, she decided to live, but she has not been without issues. had a femoral head ostectomy at 4 months, survived well. has arthritis and gets adequan shots which have been a miracle, running like a puppy. she’s very tiny, 12 lbs., seeing our wonderful vet, dr hubbard on monday. i’m praying for faith to come in and fear to go out. will keep you posted. blessings to all…………………
