If you think this photo is funny, you should have seen the live action version. My mom’s a hand-talker (she can barely converse when she’s not moving her hands – a trait that she, sadly, passed along to me as well) and so the entire time she was chatting, her hands kept moving under the pug. Looked like a pug-grandma version of the potato dance. Gave me such the giggles! (Small monitor? See the smaller version on Flickr.)

Hahaha! Merry you are cute as always and I bet you enjoyed the time with your grandma.
Love,
Christy
Aww, what a precious shot! :)
BOL! Great photo, Merry. Despite the horsing around your mom and grandma were partaking in, you look like you were taking the photo shoot very seriously. ;)
-Love,
Sid.
Happy holidays to you & yours, especially that precious pup, Merry! Just wanted to thank you for keeping this site up & running, as the Merry photos & updates are well loved. I also enjoy looking back at the archive of previous years’ photos. My little 4 legged girl, Cady, is the love of my life – it’s nice to know there are other pug-natics out there besides me! Many thanks!
Suzanne & Cady
Merry is darned cute and I recently found out that our lil one eyed friends are called “winkers” and I think that perfectly makes sense because our lil pugs are always up to something, lol. She is a perfect member of the Winkers Club!
Cheers and hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season!!!!
Oh my gosh, I have not read your blog in a long time, I logged on today and had not realized Merry was blind and had lost an eye! It really threw me ofr a loop! She is still one beautiful little girl! I admire your decision to remove the eye. I have two pugs and my older boy’s eyesight is quickly dimishing. It’s something all pug owners have to face.
I wanted to thank you for continuing the blog and posting those beautiful pictures of Merry! As all pug owners know, she is one special little girl!
This is such a precious photograph. I just stumbled across your blog from Lola’s blog and would love to be friends! I think you’re very cute. :) Also, my female human is very jealous of your mom’s photography skills! She is still a novice and hoping to get better!
