Over that time she was photographed more than 500 times for reviews, articles, interviews and more – in addition to her daily photos on the Merrylog from 2004-2009. Merrylog photos have been taken with many cameras over the years. Current setup:

- 3 lenses: 100 2.8 Macro, 50mm 1.4, and 17-40 L series
- 1 main flash: Canon Speedlite 580 EX II

Hope you get this. My pug Buster had cataract surgery on both eyes July 7th, 2011. His came on almost overnight.(I searched your archives as I could not remember if she actually had the surgery or not) He is almost 8 yrs old. So far so good, besides the drops a zillion times a day and prednisone which makes him eat and pee like a racehorse. I am so so sorry to see Merry going thru this and I hate hate hate the cone! He only had to wear a week but what a total pain, I realize one scratch and it would ruin all the work. I am also writing to say that our opthamology surgeon is truly a resource we are lucky to have in Rochester NY. I realize you have ultimate trust in your current vets as you have been dealing with them for years, however, if a second opinion is ever needed, checkout this dr. Dr Kent Burgesser at Veternary Specialists of Rochester. They are on White Spruce Blvd. He is extremely well known and respected. I will be thinking of you as she continues to heal. Glad you took that path and that it appears to be working! Good Luck!!

Just dropped in to see how the princess is coming along and seen there was no update since October. Hope all is ok. Missed your usual Halloween and Thanksgiving pics. Your fans miss you, Merry!
